Using Inkling
Inkling is a text-prediction app for macOS published by Kieksi Digital. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Macs you own or control.
Your content
Everything you write while using Inkling is yours. The app processes it on your device and never uploads it. We claim no ownership over anything you type or anything the app helps you write.
Free and paid plans
Inkling is free to use with a daily limit on the number of completions you can accept. A paid license removes that limit. Paid plans are offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, sold through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the customer portal linked from your purchase receipt, and access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that unlocks the unlimited features and includes future updates, including major versions, for as long as the app remains available. If Inkling is ever discontinued, you keep the version you already have, but we cannot guarantee future updates, and features that depend on outside services may stop working.
Devices
One license covers up to three Macs at a time. You activate your license key on each Mac, and you can remove a Mac from inside the app to free a seat for another.
Refunds
Because Inkling is free to try before you buy, we want you to be sure before you pay. If a paid license does not work out, email kieksi@kieksi.fi within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it in full. Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy. Mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence still apply and are not limited by this policy.
Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it, reverse engineer it except where permitted by law, resell or redistribute it, or use it to infringe the rights of others.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Inkling suggests text, and you are responsible for what you choose to accept and send. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss of data.
Changes
These terms may change. Updates will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply.
